UP–We meet God in worship
On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the blessings of God and the unity of the Spirit together as God’s people in one Celebration Sunday service with communion at 10:00 AM. On the remaining Sundays of the month there are three services at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
- The 10:00 AM English language service is liturgical with organist, choir or worship band assisting, and often special music, both instrumental and vocal. Holy Communion is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
- Persian Fellowship meets for Farsi language worship at 12:00 PM with communion on the third Sunday.
- New Hope Fellowship meets for Korean language worship at 2:00 PM with communion on the third Sunday. A fellowship meal follows worship.
- Our Slovak Fellowship with Rev. Dr. Dusan Toth, meets for worship one Sunday a month at 1:00 PM. (Please see the calendar for specific dates.)
On Tuesday and Thursday mornings join us at 6:00 AM for Morning Prayer, a half hour time of prayer following a short devotion.
Summer Worship: There is one morning service at 10:00 AM. The afternoon services remain the same.
Holy communion: Non-alcoholic wine (white grape juice) and gluten-free wafers are available during communion.
What to Wear: Please come as you are. The coffee pot is on and we gather in expectation of gaining understanding of what God is doing in our midst as we seek him. He tells us not to worry about what we wear and we gladly release that to him. We range from jeans to suits and ties and dresses and all are welcome.
We welcome people of all ages and stages. We are all sinners in need of God’s grace together.
